Lady Antebellum - Just A Kiss

Wow, just wow. A few hours ago, my friend Brent and I were talking about doing a cover and I was kind of thinking that this song might be perfect, we'll just need a girl to perform with us. :D Such a great song. I wanted to share this to you all. I hope you all will like it too. Give it a try! I have attached the video and lyrics so we can sing along with the vid. :D

Lyin' here with you so close to me
It's hard to fight these feelings when it feels so hard to breathe
I'm caught up in this moment, caught up in your smile

I've never opened up to anyone
So hard to hold back when I'm holding you in my arms
We don't need to rush this, let's just take it slow

Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight
Just a touch of the fire burning so bright
No I don't want to mess this thing up
I don't want to push too far

Just a shot in the dark that you just might
Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life
So baby, I'm alright with just a kiss goodnight

I know that if we give this a little time
It'll only bring us closer to the love we wanna find
It's never felt so real, no, it's never felt so right

Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight
Just a touch of the fire burning so bright
No, I don't want to mess this thing up
I don't want to push too far

Just a shot in the dark that you just might
Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life
So baby, I'm alright with just a kiss goodnight

No, I don't want to say goodnight
I know it's time to leave
But you'll be in my dreams
Tonight, tonight, tonight

Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight
Just a touch of the fire burning so bright
And I don't want to mess this thing up
I don't want to push too far

Just a shot in the dark that you just might
Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life
So baby, I'm alright

Oh, let's do this right with just a kiss goodnight
With a kiss goodnight, kiss goodnight

Avacyn Restored Release Card - Restoration Angel - with picture

The Avacyn Restored Launch Party is on May 4, 2012. Remember that starting from Avacyn Restored, Release Promos will be given out to the FNM scheduled during the release of the set. So if you go to the May 4th Friday Night Magic (FNM) tournament, you will get the premium promo card Restoration Angel, while supplies last.

The foil release card is an Angel that costs 4 (3W) and has the ability to blink out a non-Angel creature you control. The exiled creature returns to battlefield at the next end step. So this creature can trigger enters the battlefield effects of non-Angel creatures so that is a plus. 2nd point at 4 mana you get a 3/4 flying creature, that is another plus! However, for me the best ability added to this card is the Flash ability. With Flash, you might be able so save your creatures from removal spells! You can save them from destroy/damage effects. For control decks, you can also cast this angel during the end step of your opponent to go aggro on you opponent next turn. For me, this is one of the must have utility cards in this set.

Avacyn Restored Pre-Release Card - Moonsilver Spear - with picture

The Avacyn Restored Prerelease is April 28-29, 2012.

The foil pre-release card is an equipment that grants your creature the ability similar to Geist of Saint Traft that upon declaration of attackers, you put a 4/4 white Angel Token in the battlefield but the Angel token is not attacking. However, the token is not exiled at the end of your turn.

【AVR】 Avacyn Restored Gameday Promo Cards - Latch Seeker and Killing Wave

The Avacyn Restored Game Day date will be on May 26-27, 2012. Everybody who registers for the game day will receive an extended art Latch Seeker. Note that the extended art gameday cards now have inner borders, which are quite cool in my opinion.

If you fared well in the game day, the top 8 will receive a foil extended art Killing Wave! Killing wave is a very good black removal spell that gives your opponent the choice to save the creatures. A pretty decent card for a prize for your game day efforts.

October 2012 - Return to Ravnica

This is actually very very nostalgic for me. As I can remember, I was in my first year of college when Ravnica was released, I think it was October of 2004. Now, 8 years later, we revisit the Ravnica Plane, the set with multicolor cards. We revisit the 10 Guilds each with 2-mana color combination, and each having the 2nd best Dual Lands in magic history, yep, I'm talking about the shocklands, which can be fetched by the fetchlands in Onlaught and Zendikar. For me, Ravnica was my transition from building casual decks comprising of cards which I have only opened from booster packs, to competitive play in which I opted to get better if not the best cards for the standard format. Back then, my favorite guild was Dimir (Black Blue) and I also made an aggro deck for Boros (White Red).

In the picture posted at the beginning of this article, Jace was standing near a red-blue dragon. For those who wasn't playing Magic during the Ravnica Block, that Dragon is Niv Mizzet, the firemind. He is one of the oldest entities in Ravnica and the guild master of Izzet (Red-Blue).

Back then, Niv Mizzet can finish the game quickly, most especially now that Curiosity has been printed again in Innistrad. Once Curiosity is enchanted to Niv Mizzet, you can just draw 20 cards and deal 20 damage to your opponent!

And now, the idea of a new Jace lingers in our minds until October 2012. I can discuss a lot of things for Ravnica because this is simply the block that was very significant in my Magic competitive play. But I think I would discuss them in other articles. For now, I got my fingers crossed that the dual lands will be reprinted, because for me, without those guilds and shock lands, Ravnica will not be Ravnica. But then again, Avacyn Restored will be coming out to our local stores this May and not Return to Ravnica, so let us just, for the time being, shift back to the Angels in Avacyn Restored and patiently wait for the AVR spoilers so that we can evaluate and prepare to use these cards for our decks and competitive tournaments.

【AVR】 Griselbrand Spoiler with Picture

Griselbrand 4bbbb
Legendary Creature - Demon Mythic Rare
Flying, lifelink
Pay 7 life: Draw seven cards.
"Avacyn emerged from the broken Helvault, but her freedom came at a price -  him."
-Thalia, Knight-Cathar
Illus. Igor Kieryluk #106/244 7/7

Last week, when Avacyn, Angel of Hope was spoiled, I was talking about how powerful would the Demon counterpart of Avacyn would be. And now, I wasn't disappointed!

The only thing that I see as a drawback in this card would definitely be the mana cost. 8 to cast for a 7/7 lifelink and flying creature is not a bad thing but the 4 Black mana in hte casting cost makes it difficult to play in standard. Unless you are going to put it in a mono black deck or put a lot of black mana sources in your land base.

What makes it so strong? This card can actually make you draw 7 cards at instant speed! and no tap requirement for the activation. You just pay 7 life to draw these cards and that is just like 1 life per card. But since this card has lifelink, it can definitely give the lost life to you when it deals damage. That is pretty insane! Of course, if you want to be more careful when using this card, you can just make it deal damage first before actually drawing the cards, but then again, it would depend on the state of the game when this hits the field.

Amazing card! I'm not yet sure if I can use this in standard but it would be a great EDH/Commander card or even a decent General by itself.
